I want to Claim my NFT!

So, you got your book in the mail, yay! Let us know what you think (review link).

And if you're on this page, you also got your custom cartoon and the link to this page.

Your cartoon is (supposed to be) already an NFT, waiting to be transferred over to your ownership!

Continue on to learn what that means...and the necessary steps you'll need to take.

You can always contact us for more info.

Thank you!

Team Fed Up

Instructions for ownership are below!

WHAT IS AN NFT?

NFT stands for "Non-Fungible Token".

This means that the token is non-replaceable - there is a one of a kind digital proof of ownership for this one piece of art which only one person can own.

In contrast, you may have heard of Bitcoin. 1 bitcoin is just the same as another bitcoin, there is no difference. These are fungible tokens. Or a US Dollar is the same as another US Dollar, they do not have different qualities or values.

But an NFT is unique. It is most commonly used like a certificate of authenticity.

WHY WOULD I WANT THIS?

NFTs have been growing in popularity, it is a revolution happening in the world of digital art and economics.

Famously, several NFTs have sold for many millions of dollars. People have been making a good living buying and re-selling them.

Your NFT is a one of a kind item, as it was made just for you. Maybe it will be worth something, as the Fed Up book grows in popularity. This is our way of thank you for getting in early. This NFT is a gift to you. Maybe you'll want to sell it someday. That's the option we want you to have. So, by transferring it into your custody you have that ability to re-sell it on the OpenSea NFT platform.

Instructions for ownership are below!

HOW DO I GET IT?

First, you'll need to find your custom webpage, which is already made and waiting for you (It is password protected for your privacy). If you want us to change the name of this page or to delete it altogether, just let us know and we are happy to do so.

Here is the basic format so you can find the webpage:

Go to www.thefedupbook.com/FirstNameLastName

You'll need to replace FirstNameLastName with your actual name (caps don't matter).

The password is your first name (starting with capital letter)

For example, Joshua Panczer's NFT is at https://www.thefedupbook.com/joshuapanczer/

and the password is Joshua

(feel free to take a look!)

There, you'll see the direct link to where your NFT is stored on OpenSea.

You'll need to both get a (free) crypto wallet and a (free) OpenSea account.

OpenSea is compatible with many Crypto Wallets. Our favorite is MetaMask, as you'll see below, because it is a very simple and widely used Chrome extension.

You can find the full list of wallets supported by OpenSea below (Or click this link to read about/watch a video about OpenSea compatible crypto wallets directly on their website):

Account is all Setup?

Great!

Now that you have your OpenSea account all ready, we need your public wallet address so we can transfer the NFT to you! We want to make sure this is really you, so if you don't mind please enter your email address and street address in the form below so we can confirm your identity. We will email you when the transfer is done. That's it, the NFT will be yours!

Again, please contact us if you have any issues. If this is your first time setting up a crypto wallet, we hope you enjoyed it and congratulations!
